Story

There is something seriously wrong with Kenneyville. When, a young woman, KIM, from Toronto goes missing and police mysteriously drop the case earlier than expected, two private detectives are hired to find her. With undercover aliases, CHARLIE and KELLY head to the small town of Kenneyville for answers after discovering significant clues.Upon meeting seemingly innocent locals, they end up in a shocking predicament of violence where Charlie is brutally beaten and Kelly is ruthlessly kidnapped. Charlie awakens in shock with a new mission: to find and save his partner.We soon realize the horrific truth behind both women's disappearances. ADRIAN BLACK, a local scientist and businessman, has been collecting innocent women for experiments in creating brainwashed assassins. Charlie soon discovers just how deep the rabbit hole goes and ultimately learns which shocking 'mega-organization' has hired Adrian to produce these ruthless killing machines.

DANY GEHSHAN is Charlie

Dany Gehshan has been actively involved in performance since grandstanding as a child growing up in the middle-east, right through to his education in art, media and theatre, including improv, screen-acting and film-production at Vanier College CEGEP in Montreal. After moving to Ontario in 1999, Dany continued to explore his love and passion for the arts, enrolling in the Ontario College of Art and Design, where he would earn his Bachelor in Design Degree. In January of 2008, Dany decided to aggressively pursue a professional career in film performance and production, soon after landing several lead roles in short and feature films, as well as in television. He also writes, directs and produces films, which he have screened in film festivals across Canada. With his successes as an Artist, Designer, Performer and Film-Maker, Dany is continually grateful for these experiences, as well as for those to come, as his thirst for creative expression is only ever temporarily sated by the next gig, however great or small. Dany currently spends his down-time dreaming, practicing Kung Fu, and living happily ever after, always, with his wife, his two dogs, and their parrot in a remote suburb in Southern Ontario.

VANESSA BROZE is Kelly

Vanessa Broze was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Brought up by three fantastic parents, two of which happen to be artists, it certainly came as no surprise when Vanessa made the decision to pursue a career in acting. Since training in Soulpepper Theatre's Mentorship program and studying Theatre Arts at the University of Ottawa Vanessa has gone on to star in HBO's Forbidden Science (currently airing on the Space Network) as well as star in three feature films: "Kenneyville", "The Darkness" and "Anything Goes". You may have recently caught her on "Forensic Factor", as well as National Geographic's "Aftermath" and can look forward to her recurring role on a top secret MTV series set to air in the up-coming months. Having spent time recently studying The Meisner Technique under John Riven as well as joining Actra as a full member, Vanessa feels thrilled about what the rest of 2011 has in store!

MICHAEL SCRATCH is Adrian Black

Having begun studying theatre and acting from the early '90's, Michael didn't begin his pursuit in film/television until 2004, first opting to pursue and dedicate his early life to service as a professional firefighter. Since that time, Michael has enjoyed the many experiences that have contributed to his diversity of roles. Having had a number of smaller and commercial roles in his first few years, his first major role came in 2008 as the lead character Scott in the Body Machine which was later nominated at the Banff International Film Festival as well as at the Canadian Gemini awards. In this film, Michael performed all of his own stunts, which included getting hit a dozen times in hockey as well as riding around on a Ducati for 2 full days (not an easy task when following moving camera vehicle with less than 5 feet separating it's bumpers from the motorcycle).That same year saw him appearing as supporting character Robert Armstrong in HBO/Cinemaxs Forbidden Science. He has since appeared as lead character Jason in Lingerie with the same network in 2009, while in that same year we also were able to see Michael play the 'alpha wolf' in television feature film 'we'rewolves: the dark survivors'. His latest roles in post production have allowed him to display a darker side, having been the archtype villain Adrian Black in feature film 'Kenneyvile' by Brooks Hunter (trailers available on youtube), as well as lead character 'Lucifer' (the devil) in a comedic short entitle 'the perfect game' and an intense US customs officer (ICE agent Costello) in 'Anchor Baby' which won award for best film at the Harlem Film Festival and the award of merit at the L.A. cinema festival in 2010. Though not a model, Michael was chosen in a search for 'real people' to adorn the covers of famed romance novels 'Harlequin' in 2009. He's enjoyed working with the creative and talented photographers and artistic team saying 'it's really opened my eyes to how much emoting models do' in this role.Michael balances his acting life by raising his beautiful twin daughters and continuing his work as a 17 year veteran professional firefighter in London. Incredibly appreciative and grateful for every new role that comes his way and the experiences that come with them, Michael continues to be a student to his passion and craft as an actor. His intention continues to bring as inspiring and compelling a performance as possible through living moments of truth and creativity to the audiences that watch the films he's been a part of.

Doran Damon Okkema grew up in Waterloo and began acting at a young age. He built a strong track record, performing in various short films in Toronto such as Prepped for Life and Smoking Kills. He is a performer of many styles; having specialized in comedic approaches, he achieves tremendous energy and a poignant presence onscreen. His mix of sarcasm, humor, and sheer determination in the character of Donovan adds a sharp spark to KENNEYVILLE.

IRENA ANGELOUTSA is Victoria

ACTOR: Irena Angeloutsa brings a true passion for actiong to any role she plays and has the creativity, determination, training, and experience necessary to succeed at her craft. Her professional experience includes work in television, film, and on stage where she has appeared in both supporting and lead roles. Irena is originally from Kishinov, Moldova, a former part of the USSR. She moved to Canada in the early 1990s, initially living in Montreal for several years before making the move to Toronto, where she currently resides. She studied acting at The Second City for a number of years where she learned the art of improvisation within an ensemble. Irena expanded on her acting with professional coaching in an update of the complete Stanislavski System which teaches actors how to perfect the craft through matering the skills that are vital to playing lead roles in films.PRODUCER: Irena Angeloutsa is a Toronto based producer launching a production company called Aanjali Pictures in 2012 that will focus on producing original and creative documentary and motion picture content. Previously, Irena has worked as an associate producer on a short film called Truth Lies in Charlie that was screened in the short film corner at Cannes Film Festival in 2009. Additionally, she has collaborated as a freelance producer on her first feature film project working with Robanzo Pictures. She is currently working on various projects in development as well as collaborating on a number of projects with other producer and production companies.

NICK MAIORINO is Marshall

Always interested in theatre and acting, Nick began his pursuit in 2005. Having only a love for film under his belt, he went out to numerous open casting calls. In 2006, he was offered a role in the Indie film, Preview To a Killer. The role was a contract killer sent out to find a rogue Hitman. On set, Nick was as green as anyone could possibly be and that was it; the acting bug bit Nick. That year he enrolled himself at the Ottawa School for Speech and Drama. He completed three Acting with the Camera courses over a one-year period. During these courses, Nick was equally committed to his career as a finance agent for a major Canadian Bank.In 2007, Nick auditioned for the Robanzo Pictures short film, Bed and Breakfast. He landed the leading role of the Antagonist, Albert Garrison. This dark role gave Nick a chance to sink his teeth into a character that was evil in both the past and present. Bed and Breakfast made the usual indie scene tour and took home a few awards. In 2009, Nick and Robanzo pictures would again reunite. He was offered the role of Marshall in the feature film Kenneyville. This supporting character was an antagonist that committed brutishly violent acts. On set, Nick performed all of his own stunts, including carefully choreographed fight sequences. The character Marshall was such a drastic departure and image from himself, that during the cast and crew screening of Kenneyville, no one in the audience recognized him until Director, Brooks Hunter, introduced him. In 2010, Nick began a major career change; he completed a Bachelor in Education at the University of Ottawa. He intends to bring all of his energy and passion for acting into every classroom and lesson he is apart of. He plans to bring the arts and drama back to the schools of Ottawa.Nick balances his acting life by supply teaching in Ottawa elementary schools and spending time with his wife and their dog in the suburbs of Ottawa. Nick is currently developing educational videos to be utilized in classrooms across Ontario and the Bahamas.

KELSEY OLUK is Kim

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, the pursuit of acting and telling stories has brought Kelsey halfway around the world, and currently back to Toronto. Her passion for performing began at a young age with dance routines and kartwheels in the backyard. Soon enough, her mother enrolled her in dance and theatre classes, and Kelsey got her first taste of a real stage and never looked back! She flew the Albertan coop at 17 and enrolled and graduated from the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts. With a love for excitement, Kelsey has also had the pleasure of studying and performing at T. Schreiber Studios in New York City, her favourite city in the world! She has worked on a wide variety of projects, from musicals, contemporary dance companies, music videos, comedic shorts, and most recently the feature film thriller "Kenneyville", which has a US release date of October 11,2011! Kelsey also writes and produces her own short films, as well as the episodic web-series "How To Be A Friend". In between all these projects, Kelsey dreams about which place she will travel to next.

"Kenneyville has numerous metaphors in it for the painful journey one must travel through while falling into serious stages of anxiety and delusional thinking. It is a fictional, fantasy world in which many of the characters, events, sets, and production designs represent various stages and elements of transitioning from feeling normal to having the world become emotionally paralyzing. These themes stem from a very common theme in life where pain must sometimes be endured for success in the end. Similar to hard work, going through the trials of medication and therapy is whats usually needed to get through deeper stages of mental illness. It turns into a challenging concept to wrap your head around, however, when trying to discern whats a REAL emotion vs. whats an emotion affected by a chemical imbalance."
